Episode Seventy-Eight: Parker Hulme Murder
On June 22 1954, the body of Honorah Parker was found in Victoria Park in Christchurch, New Zealand. Within days of the murder, her 16-year-old daughter, Pauline and Pauline's 15-year-old friend, Juliet Hulme were charged with the crime.
The trial would bring up allegations of lesbianism, shared delusion and insanity. And ultimately, they were judged and imprisoned for being inherently evil.
