Episode Fifty-Five: Lead Masks and the Isdal Woman
In August 1966 in Brazil, two young male electronic technicians were found dead in a field. They were wearing matching suits and raincoats. But more strangely they were wearing matching masks made of lead. The events leading up to their deaths and a strange coded notebook found would have armchair sleuths questioning the cause of death ruling of both the men dying of heart attacks for decades after.
In November 1970 in Norway, a badly burnt body of a woman was found by hiker...s in the Isdalen Valley. An intensive investigation following to determine her identity but were hampered by the fact she carry on identification and her fingerprints had been sanded off. Adding to the mystery was a coded notebook naming six or seven identities she was known by. Strangely, the official cause of death was ruled a suicide. But was she really the victim of a horrific crime?
