Episode Forty-Four: Marjorie West / Annandale Jane Doe
On May 8 1938, 4-year-old Marjorie West was at a picnic with her family for Mother’s Day. She went off to pick wild flowers with her older sister for their mother. Her sister returns to give her mother the flowers but time she returns moments later, Marjorie was disappeared.
A sighting of a little curly red headed girl in a vehicle matching the description of Marjorie was seen that night. And then later the same vehicle was spotted with no girl but a bundle wrapped in a grey blanket.
Speculation pointed towards Marjorie being abducted as part of an illegal adoption ring however no evidence of this actually happening ever comes forth and Marjorie is never seen again.
Almost 60 years later, on December 18 1996, an unidentified woman commits suicide in the children’s section of Pleasant Valley Memorial Park. She left several cryptic clues including a re-written prayer, a comedy tape and an 8” Christmas tree. This woman was described as having red curly hair.
