Episode Thirty-Three: Allison Baden-Clay
On Friday April 20 2012, Gerard Baden-Clay reported his wife, Allison missing. He had suspected she went for an early morning walk and she did not return home. When investigators arrived at the family home in Brookfield, Queensland, a neatly dressed Gerard was about to send the couple's three daughters to school.
Scratches on his face were shaving cuts, he told them. Police weren't convinced and opened one of Australia's most high-profile investigations.
Ten days after Gerard reported Allison's disappearance, her body was discovered in a creek bank almost nine miles from her home.
On June 13 2012, Gerard Baden-Clay was arrested for the murder of his wife. However, this is just the beginning of the story.
